Rock the Block is back
and bigger than ever!

Come enjoy the fun both Friday and Saturday!
Winston-Salem’s biggest end-of-summer street party returns, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, in downtown Winston-Salem. But wait, there is more….This year we will kick off the fun on Friday, Sept. 16 at 6:00 p.m. at Civic Park (bordered by Fourth, Liberty, Third, and Cherry streets) for a 5K run to benefit United Way. Not a runner? Come on out anyway, there will be food, drinks and a live band to enjoy.
On Saturday, we will have all the favorites back. The Kids Zone  will again be in the  Benton Convention Center. It will be on the main level, North Main Hall.  All the inflatibles will be back. Kids can play as much as they like for just a $1. There will be an exciting new addition in the Kids Zone, a contemporary Christian stage with live bands hosted by WBFJ Radio. Concert goers get admitted free.
Along Fourth, Marshall, Cherry streets and Civic Plaza, Rock the Block will offer free music on four stages presenting Rock, Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Beach, Smooth Jazz  and the very popular Rock This! teen battle of the bands.
The BMX Bike show, WORB (Walking on Water Orbs), street performances  and food and merchandise vendors will fill the streets once again.
